No open positions right now

Prevolve is a small team in Kent, Washington. Four of us design, print, assemble, and ship every pair that leaves the shop. We hire slowly, and only when the work is clearly there.

That said, applications are always open. If you think you could contribute something we don't have yet, tell us what it is. The best way to find out whether there's potential is to work on a project together, so when the fit looks promising we usually start with something small and concrete rather than a round of interviews.

Where

Kent, Washington, just south of Seattle. Design, printing, assembly, and shipping all happen in one room.

Size

Four people. Everyone touches the product.

How we start

A small paid project on a real problem, not a panel interview.

What we're drawn to

  • People who make things

Most of what we do is physical. Printers, glue-ups, lasts, laces. If you've built and fixed real things, it shows up fast.

  • Depth over breadth

We'd rather meet someone who has gone deep on one thing, TPU printing, biomechanics, parametric design, video, than someone who has touched everything lightly.

  • Comfort with unfinished systems

We're small enough that a lot of the process isn't written down yet. That's an opportunity if you like building the system, and a frustration if you don't.

  • A reason to care about feet

Everyone here has a reason they think conventional footwear gets it wrong. Yours doesn't have to match ours, but it helps to have one.

How to apply

Email us with "Application" in the subject line. Tell us what you'd want to work on and show us something you've made. A link, a photo, a repo, a build log, any of that is more useful to us than a formatted resume.

We read everything, and we reply to anyone we'd want to work with.
