One player. One problem

Prevolve didn't start in a lab or a boardroom. It started with an injured soccer player who refused to accept that his knees had to hurt.

01.The Injury

The dream that two surgeries ended

Oliver was on track to play soccer for a living until two knee surgeries at sixteen took it away. The pain didn't leave when the game did. Every cleat he owned forced his foot into a shape it was never built to hold, and his knees kept paying for it.

26 bones, 33 joints and over 100 muscles in each foot. Conventional cleats fit them as one block.

02.The Discovery

Running barefoot changed everything

After reading Born to Run, he tried running barefoot and felt what no cleat had given him: movement without pain. The problem was never his feet. It was what the footwear industry had built to cover them

Runners with a barefoot-style forefoot strike showed about half the repetitive stress injuries of heel-first runners. Daoud et al., Harvard, 2012.

03.The Obsession

The 12,500 hours custom fit algorithm

He left college, taught himself 3D printing, and started sanding down his own cleats in a one-bedroom apartment. The first versions broke after five to ten games, so he rebuilt them hundreds of times, eventually coding a custom-fit algorithm that took him 12,500 hours to get right.

12,500 hours of code, 254 prototype iterations, and 995 logged improvements on the public log.

04.The Result

Nine years of work, in every pair

Our toes spread instead of fold, the pressure points disappear, and your feet finally do the work they were built for. Players talk about sharper cuts, fewer rolled ankles, and the kind of ground feel that makes them faster, all from a boot shaped to their own feet.

+53% performance within their first season, athletes surveyed, June 2026.

“Big brands make one shoe 10,000 times. I'd rather make one shoe, 10,000 times better.”

Oliver Brossmann, Founder

He still plays in every design

Prevolve isn't tested in a lab either. It's tested at full speed, on turf, by the founder.

Oliver never stopped playing. He still competes at a high level, and every design for the soccer cleat goes through his feet first, proven through cutting, sprinting and shooting for hours. He's learned the subtle art of design and iteration when it comes to footwear. The fit algorithm behind every pair is code he wrote himself, line by line, and it gets reviewed through every session on the pitch.

Founder-tested in play before anything ships.
