Choosing Wide Fit Cleats
Of course! It helps to have proper fitting and healthy cleats and shoes for wide feet.
Prevolve does!
Some brands offer wide sizing, but Prevolve offers a true wide custom fit option.
You can buy wide custom fit cleats on the Prevolve's store. We scan your feet for a custom fit.
For conventional cleats, you should try them on first. If conventional cleats are too narrow, you might need custom fit wide cleats.
The best wide soccer, football, baseball, sport cleats are Prevolve's Custom Fit Cleats because they are custom designed around your foot shape.
Yes. Prevolve offers cleats custom fit to your foot. Any size, shape, and strength foot, our cleats will be comfortable for you.
These cleats aren’t for everyone. They’re for players who care about how their feet function, who want performance without sacrificing long-term health, and who are done adapting to shoes that weren’t made for them.
Most cleats don’t fit human feet. They fit a factory mold that assumes everyone’s foot is basically the same shape. They are narrow and overly rigid. They force the toes together, limit natural movement, and concentrate pressure in places the foot was never designed to handle.
Over time, that shows up as discomfort, loss of power, and eventually injury.
The problem isn’t your feet.
The problem is the shoe.
At this time we have a size limit of US 15 in men's. We are constantly working on upgrading our printers and scanners. We will do our best to increase this limitation in the future.
There are no limitations in how small we can produce shoes.
Our Cleats
Our cleats are fully custom — built from a 3D scan of your foot.
That means the length, width, toe shape, volume, stiffness, and stud layout are all based on your anatomy and how you play.
We don’t add unnecessary support, we design so the foot can do what it’s supposed to do.
The biggest difference you’ll notice is our toebox. It’s actually foot shaped. We adapt the width based on your actual foot shape and we offer toe spacers as an add-on to help fill in some of that added volume
We offer multiple fully tested stud configurations. What’s different is that the studs are positioned relative to your metatarsal joints and toe box shape. Instead of forcing your foot to adapt to the plate, the plate is built around how your foot naturally loads ground forces. That means better force transfer, less localized pressure, and a more connected feel when you accelerate or change direction. This also allows us to use a stiffer material around the edge of the foot ensuring maximum force transfer and stability during cutting.
The upper is built as a 3D layered system. The outer shell is our most durable material to date — extremely abrasion resistant, and grippier than most leather boots, especially in wet conditions. Under that is stiffer 95A TPU structure with an interal TPU foam layer for comfort. That structural layer helps disperse creasing across the upper, so you don’t get sharp pressure points or early material failure.
We completely redesigned the collar foam, from a multipart assembly into one cohesive 3D part that flexes with your achilles, and provides amazing lockdown fit.
That internal plate provides stiffness, and it’s tuned to your foot strength and level of competition. A stiff hex pattern is embedded into a TPU foam. The hex pattern size is adapted to your specific foot strength level; basically the stronger your feet the wider the hexagons and the more flexible the plate becomes.
Inside the shoe, we include a custom insole with a built-in low-profile met pad. Or if you want to retrain your arch we offer variable metpad system. The bottom of the insole has an interlocking grip texture that interfaces with the internal insole plate, so nothing slides during movement even in warm conditions when sweat starts to build up.
The eyelets are reinforced with a much stronger material — we fully expect these not to rip, even under aggressive lacing. The tongue uses the same layered approach: ripstop nylon sandwiched between TPU foam and 95A TPU, giving you comfort, durability, and breathability without collapse.

Our scanning page has our recommendations for how to acquire a foot scan.
When it comes to a great fit for maximum athletic performance millimeters matter. That's why we require foot scans for every order. We want to make you a perfect pair of cleats. We don't make standard sizes, we only make unique cleats made to your athletic profile and foot shape.
The more recent the scan the better. We recommend adults re-scan their feet every 6-12 months. The more you use toe spacers and minimalist footwear the quicker your foot shape will become more natural. We recommend re-scanning before buying a new pair if you notice significant changes in your foot shape and strength. For Kids we recommend re-scanning every 6 months or after a growth spurt.
Yes, we sell internationally. Shipping costs will be added to your order during checkout.
We estimate a delivery time of 2-3 weeks after receiving all required customer data. This time may fluctuate based on the amount of orders we are processing, but a longer ship time will always come with an email update.
Not at the moment. The best way to ensure the earliest delivery is to get your order in early. Shoes will be built sequentially on a first-to-order basis.
Level 1 - I wear orthotics in all my shoes and look for the most cushioned shoe I can get.
Level 2 - I've never worn minimalist shoes.
Level 3 - I sometimes wear minimalist shoes, but still wear some conventionally designed footwear.
Level 4 - I primarily wear minimalist shoes.
Level 5 - I spend all my time barefoot or in minimalist shoes.
Level 6 - Give me the thinnest sole possible… I can run a mountain barefoot !!
Production
3D Printing is an additive manufacturing process. The process we use is called FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling). For FDM a heated nozzle is used to extrude a filament, in this case a flexible plastic. This plastic is extruded in a thin layer on top of a level bed. Once a base layer is printed another thin layer is printed on top of it. This process continues until an entire 3D object is formed. We highly recommend checking out CNC Kitchen or Thomas Sanladerer's Youtube Channels to learn more!
Scan your feet -> Algorithm designs shoe and parts -> Parts are printed -> Shoes are assembled. It's that easy.
Well not really.. :)
Returns & Warranty
If you're unhappy with your shoes, you can return them for a full refund during the first 30 days. We believe you'll love your shoes and are willing to back them with our full return policy. The only thing we ask in return is a full description of what went wrong: why you purchased the cleats and how/why you changed your mind.
Because our shoes are custom-made for your feet, returning them isn’t particularly helpful — we don’t have a retail store or a process for reselling custom shoes. The purpose of our return policy is to collect valuable feedback and improve our product in the long run.
If your shoe breaks and becomes dysfunctional within the first 90 days of use or 250 hours of play you can send the shoes back to Prevolve Footwear and we will replace them 1 time for free. We reserve the right to refuse such service if we deem the usage of the shoe was inappropriate for its purpose. (Don't use your shoes to walk over hot coals.)
Within 30 days of receiving your shoes, if the sizing feels off, send us an email with a detailed description of the issue. We may be able to help accommodate your fit without producing a new pair. If the problem persists we may request you submit a new scan and we will re-print and deliver a new pair of shoes.
Tips for you
We recommend wearing your socks dependent on your local weather, planned activity, and the overall fit of the shoe. Toe socks are great for creating more space between your toes. Normal socks can be used to ensure the Toe Spacers do not move.
Prevolve Footwear shoes are more minimal and flexible than conventional shoes. That means they are designed to encourage natural foot movement. If you are planning on using these shoes for exercise and you have worn traditional shoes for most your life, your feet and lower legs may need a training period before intense usage with these shoes.
A gradual break-in period is recommended. Start with 20-30 minute sessions. Judge your soreness the next day. If your body is in moderate pain, wait a day, continue these evaluations until you feel little to no pain. Return to your training and begin increasing the duration & intensity. Repeat this process for as long as necessary to get to 100% intensity.
No matter the scenario, we believe you must listen to your own body.
Cleaning Prevolve shoes is super easy. Remove the Insole, rinse in the sink with warm water & soap using a sponge to remove any dirt from outer surfaces. The shoes are waterproof, so there's no risk in completely submerging them. Dry with towel or near mild heat source.
We do not recommend the use of orthotics in our footwear. The entire shape of your shoes will be custom fit to your feet based on your foot scans and data. Our footwear is designed to not only fit YOUR feet, but to also encourage good health. Instead of propping the arch up with a stiff orthotic, we use foam metatarsal pads (of varying thicknesses) to progressively regain function.
We recommend using the insoles provided as they are unique to your foot shapes and have a specific thickness that will work with your body/strength. If you have an insole that happens to be the same footprint as the shoe, and a similar thickness, go for it.
Future
Prevolve Footwear is solely focused on Cleated footwear and foot health accessories for the time being . We'll let you know if that changes ;)
